Surroundings and Local Facilities

Just a 20-minute walk from the perched village of Reillanne, our vacation apartment is on the ground floor of our home on a private road surrounded by green hills with beautiful views of the Luberon. Nearby are the bustling market towns Forcalquier and Apt, Roussillon, Lourmarin, Bonnieux, Isle sur la Sorgue, Menerbes and more. Avignon, Marseille and the Mediterranean coast are each about 1 ¼ auto hours distance. Aix-en-Provence is an hour’s drive. The Gorges du Verdon, 1 ½ hours drive. A 236-kilometer marked bicycle route passes through Reillanne. There are ample hiking opportunities in the area. Reillanne has an ancient hilltop church and clock tower, a lively Sunday market, two bakeries, a small grocery, a tobacco/press store and three cafes, each with a restaurant.
