Brantevik is a very popular and lively village during the summer-season with live jazz and other music several days a week. There are a couple of very good restaurants , coffee-shops, a museum, an old fashion food-shop among other things. Brantevik fishing village is located only 6 km from Simrishamn, a charming small town by the sea with markets and boutiques, coffee shops, flee markets, gourmet restaurants, smoked fish, bars, disco etc. Among other popular activities are swimming, biking, horse riding, sailing, bird watching fishing, golf and of course long walks along the beautiful beaches. You also find picturesque farms with shopping and cafés. This area is also well-known for many artists and galleries, craft, flee-markets. antique-shops and of course restaurants and shops with delicious sea-food. There are also many nice buildings and very old historic places to discover. If you prefer a peaceful vacation and recreation in this extremely beautiful region, then the best time to visit would be in autumn or in spring.
