Sörmons cottage village consists of 13 self catering four-bed cottages, with 2-3 extra beds. The cottages are spacious and nicely equipped. The village has a beautiful and calm location next to the Röst mountain with a wonderful view over Anå mountains. This is where the Nordic Ski Track goes - a 300 km connected cross-country ski system. Also, just beside the cottages there are some good ski tracks.
Ljusnedal village has a central but tranquil location with about 30 ski lifts within 22 km.

Surroundings and Local Facilities

Those who are preferring down hill skiing can go to Funäsdalen, which is the closest down hill skiing area, only 5 km away. Tänndalen Ski Center is 20 minutes away with a car, and 25 minutes away will you find the popular skiing center of Ramund mountains.
There are about 45 km marked ski tracks in beautiful mountain terrain for cross-country skiing. Suitable for the very beginner as well as for the skilled skier.
It is 5 minutes by car to Funäsdalen village with banks, ski-rentals, medical center, pharmacy, handicraft shops and a museum. In the area there are arrangements of ski tours, dog team tours and snow cat tours to waffle cafes in the mountains.
